We were looking for good blackout fabrics for our CAMPER-IN-A-BOX customers for a long time. After years of searching, we came across Antonio. Antonio owns a workshop in Spain that specialises in motorhome textiles.
Antonio and his team develop and manufacture various products for both passenger cars, light trucks, and motorhomes. For example, they make the 'blinds' for us that keep out both the sun (thermal protection) and prying eyes.
Besides blackout and sun protection products, we also supply fly screens for various makes and models of cars.
Behind carblinds.be are Maaike Oost and Johan Schuckink Kool. We are passionate campers, having mainly travelled around Europe with our minicamper in recent years. On these trips, blackout plays an important role. Sometimes to keep the heat out, other times to spend the night somewhere inconspicuously quiet. We started with home-made curtains and tried out several alternatives. In the end, only the screens Antonio produces for us fulfilled the promises. We now offer this promise of protection to everyone.
